MINI YUCATAN PROGRAM:

chichen itza

The tour starts early in the morning. We are the very first to enter the archaeological area of Chichen Itza, passing large crowds of tourists. In addition to the main attraction, the Kukulkan pyramids (included in the list of 7 new Wonders of the World), we will see the Temple of Warriors, a huge playground for the sacred ball game (“Pok-ta-pok”), a cenote altar, an observatory and much more.

Immediately after Chichen Itza, we go swimming and eat in the cenote Selva Maya, all the same, almost completely alone-just our small group. In this beautiful place, you will find a real rest for the soul and body and the opportunity to swim in the clear and refreshing water of the cenote.

Tequila Factory

You will see how the agave grows, or, as the Mayan Indians call it, magey. During Spanish rule, its root was used to make tequila, now the most famous Mexican alcoholic beverage in the world.

Izamal

Located just 70 kilometers (43 miles) from the city of Mérida, Izamalis a Pueblo Mágico(Magical Town) also known as the city“Of the 3 cultures”, a given title due to the fact that it concentrates a greatprehispanic past, colonial constructions and a current life that has not overshadowed the legitimacy of this town painted in yellow and ocher.

In the Evening of the first day, we will arrive at the central Méridaa square and check into the hotel.

Mérida, also known as the White city; land of the only bombs (bombas) that explode in verse, of the cochinita pibil and people who smile even with their eyes. This destination seems to be a stage ready to be photographed, or to shoot a film. Its impeccable presence matches the guayaberas worn by men, the Yucatecan terno of its women, with extravagant embroidered flowers, precise and ready to show off along its Paseo de Montejo.

Uxmal

You will enjoy the puuk architectural style, widespread in this Mayan area. You will love the Wizard’s pyramid, the observatory, the gigantic grounds and the lack of crowds of tourists.

After Uxmal , we will visit the chocolate factory, drive around the colonial estate and then return to Cancun and the Mayan Riviera.
